About Kids’ Chance of Alaska

Kid’s Chance of Alaska was founded on September 24, 2020, on the principle that children of workers seriously injured or killed on the job deserve a chance at a college education.

Vision

We envision a time when all children affected by a parent’s work related injury or death can pursue their educational dreams without financial burden.

Mission

To provide scholarships to children of workers who have been injured or killed on the job.

The Need

In 2018, there were 19 fatal occupational injuries, and 3,554 injuries with lost time from work. There are no records of how many children were affected by the loss of income of a parent, however we know the need for support and a future education for kids of injured workers is real.

The Opportunity

To join as a Founding Donor of Kid’s Chance of Alaska in 2020

Collectively, Kids’ Chance organizations have awarded 7,300 scholarships across the country, totaling over $24,000,000 dollars.

Kids’ Chance of Alaska is proud to be a part of Kids’ Chance of America. For more information, please visit their website at www.kidschance.org.
